My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Great lock. And I know you have said this before, We cant really stop a determined thief, but we CAN slow them down or make them move on to an easier target. This would do the trick. As long as the shackle it locks to is also thick and intimidating. And I have to say, Bill, I knew you were good when I first started watching your videos, but now that I have started picking, I am blown away as to how well you pick. I get frustrated too quick and thats not good. I know, I need to chill out and keep practicing, I just want to hurry that up. Great work sir’…..

  2. That lock would probably awesome if it were made of(stainless) steel . . . ..great pickin’, Bill !! 👍😉

  3. If they centered the locking mechanism as you suggested I think it would work as a motorcycle disk brake lock using the holes in the disk. There are others designed to do this except they are cheap and easy to defeat.

  4. I agree with your comments, nice job. Looks like it will have a limited market. I still like the “puck” locks but may cost a bit more with the mounting.
Some anti-drill pins in the lock itself would stop another type of attack.
    Thanks for the vid.
