My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. hi Bill can i ask a question why is it when anyone shows picking a euro cylinder they always do it upside down and not the way it would be fitted in the door and would this make much difference to the feel of picking it

  2. Why is there a small dent drilled on the front? Is it just for making it easier to plonk the key in, or some anti-tensioning thing?

  3. Common Bill, that was far too easy for you????????????????????????????
Been looking and can't find you picking a Alpha 800 berg wachter.
They are waffered but not seen anyone do it yet.
    Do you think it's possible??

  4. hey Bill I've been watching your videos for quite awhile now. your the biggest inspiration for my new hobbie. I purchased a goso pick set and buying locks gets pretty addicting Ha. maybe down the road my house will look like your workshop. I just want to say you are by far my favorite subscription. and I wanna know how I can maybe get in line for those boxes of locks. I just turned 21 and have a locksmith interview tomorrow. very excited wish me luck. and to the people who are new to his channel, you will wish you found it sooner:)

  5. Nice job Bill. Seems like the locks from the naughty bucket aren't so naughty lately.
Makes me want to tackle some of mine. Thanks for all the videos. Hope you continue for a long time.

  6. Deceiving appearance. before I learned about locks, I thought all locks were made the same way, as in the face of the letter may be complicated, but the inside was standard. It is neat to learn that there are locks made this way.

  7. Hey Bill, Just picked my first ever lock while watching this video. SPP'ed a 6 standard pin euro with a sparrows half diamond. I stumbled across your video's last week somehow and decided this was something I wanted to try. Just wanted to say thanks.

  8. can someone explain to me what all these "snapper" locks are? i dont get it, how could a steel lock like that be snapped if it was installed in a door or keyway? also, how would you snap it if you wanted to? i dont understand the whole concept behind "snappers" and why bother even having an anti snap part to it.

  9. my eyes have been opened by your channel . you have so much knowledge ! I have just got my first set of picks because of you . having fun already . thank you . and a happy new year .
