(1200) Review: HPC PIP-2000 Pick Kit (& Giveaways)

LockLab is Fan funded!  Help pay for stuff to review, break and talk trash about, and maybe even give away when we’re done.  Join the Tribe!

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. $89.00 USD (plus shipping/handling), probably comes to over $100USD for approx 4 – 6 actual useful picks . . . . although its a nice kit, not a fan for sooo many useless picks. HPC should have put more widely used picks for $89.

  2. I have these extractors. They are VERY thin! It is extremely easy to bend these! I would not recommend these tools. The picks on the other hand look very nice, I would like to try those.

  3. Interesting kit by hpc. I’ve never used their products yet, but I’m curious to see if those odd rakes do the trick. But yet another solid review. Much thanks!

  4. Another Good tool review. One thing I like about lock lab is Bill doesn’t show himself on camera, it’s all about the subject; locks, tools and picking, imparting tips skills and knowledge etc. Unlike many attention, fame & celebrity seekers that seem so prevalent everywhere now days. Educational and entertaining.

  5. Does Sparrow’s have a discount code that can be used for current orders ? Thanks for the great videos Bill !
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all !

  6. Your upgrades makes this kit usable. If it wasn’t for your kindness (additions) I don’t think I would shell out $89 for a very nice case. As always you rock Bill , thanks.

  7. I haven't been subscribed for very long but after watching a fue of your videos I ordered a cheep set of picks off ebay you have inspired me to try to get into lock picking
